Audacity is a free sound recording and editing program available on both our laptops and desktop computers.  It can be used to create audio recordings of student reading, build mp3 files for digital storytelling, radio plays and podcasting.    Podcasts are digital media files that are produced in a series.  Listeners can subscribe to the series on a regular basis.  In this workshop we will explore this versatile piece of software and look at podcasting and how it can be used in the classroom.
