Workshops 2011-2012

Professional workshops are available for individuals, small groups, or whole staff purposes.  The Literacy Coaches are available to present 1 hour workshops on the following topics:

Independent Reading

Guided Reading

 Reading with Meaning

 Reading Comprehension Strategies

 Balanced Literacy 

  Fountas and Pinnell Refresher

 Spelling/Word Work  

 RAD refresher

To schedule a workshop, please contact the Literacy Coach for your school.  Workshops can be done during the day, noon hour, or after school hours.

 Book Clubs

Are you or colleagues you know interested in studying a particular topic or professional resource?  If so, then contact the Literacy Coaches to help you get a Professional Book Club started.  The Coaches have suggestions on topics and authors to help you in your professional journey.
