Professional Sites:

The Saskatchewan Professional Development Unit (SPDU) in conjunction with literacy leaders from Saskatchewan school divisions have collaboratively created rubrics and provided samples for writing.  They also have rubrics for  listening, reading, speaking, representing and viewing.

Saskatchewan School Library Association Excellent inquiry resources to support the Saskatchewan Curriculum and could also be utilized for UBD Planning.

The 2 Sisters Joan Moser and Gail Boushey are the Two Sisters who are literacy specialists.  Their site contains valuable information for teachers interested in The Daily Five or CAFE.

Reading Power  Adrienne Gear’s website includes many resources, including some great book lists.

Storyline Online – The Screen Writer’s Guild Foundation Storyline Online is a site where actors read stories accompanied by streaming video.

Barnes and Noble-another great site for online stories.

We Give Books-award winning books read online with teacher resources included.
